San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk is down about $15,000. Juszczyk was fined last week for what the NFL called an "offensive demonstration" following his touchdown catch against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. If you've ever seen him celebrate following a score, you'd know exactly what happened -- the guy with the nickname "juice" pretends to drink something and moves on about his day.
Juszczyk didn't appreciate losing money for doing something he's done for years, so he defended himself on social media and directly to anyone who would listen. "I don’t even drink beer!" he wrote in a text to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Kristin Juszczyk, his wife, also helped him out by posting a video of the two squeezing fresh juice to TikTok.
If you'd like to know more about the fine, look no further than the words reportedly used in the letter that was sent to Juszczyk by the NFL. "Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste," the NFL wrote, per Schefter. It's something the guy has done for more than a decade, so don't expect him to stop doing it any time soon...
