Seven investment projects with a combined value of nearly $500 million are currently under review by the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov said at the fourth Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Regional Forum in Tashkent, Trend's special correspondent reports. According to Kudratov, the company has already approved eight projects worth a combined $500 million in a relatively short period. The minister noted that the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company supports businesses through direct equity investments, short-term shareholder loans and reimbursement of project preparation costs.
