Australia’s national net debt has doubled over the past decade to $30,000 per person, and is set to climb by a further 50% by the end of the decade, according to the Parliamentary Budget Office. Australian defence force personnel have joined the search for 18-year-old Lily Hooper, who has been missing in Nattai national park in the NSW southern highlands for a week.
