Azerbaijan’s champions Sabah will face Spanish side Barcelona and English club Arsenal in the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League following Thursday’s draw in Monaco. Sabah, making its debut in the main phase of the competition, will host Barcelona and travel to England to face Arsenal. The Azerbaijani club will play eight matches in the league phase, with four at home and four away, against eight different opponents.
The league phase will begin on September 8-10, with the first matchday spread across those three days. The remaining opponents for Sabah will also be determined by the draw, as the 36 teams in the league phase each face two opponents from each of the four seeding pots.
