Witney Carson and Guillermo Rodriguez were voted off Dancing With the Stars this week, but they went out on a huge high. And by that I mean Witney did the air splits. The couple’s routine kicked off with Guillermo literally walking under Witney’s splits as she was being held up by two supporting dancers.
And for those of you wondering how long Witney was waiting in the splits on stage...It was a while. Witney—who is pregnant with her third child—chatted about doing the air splits and how sweet Guillermo was about it, telling Extra he was busy “making sure that I’m good and that I’m eating, am I drinking, am I sitting, am I resting enough? Like today, when we were doing the splits before we went live, he was like, ‘Are you sure you want to do the splits?’ So, just always thinking about me.
It‘s been really sweet.” Guillermo added, “I was worried because I know women are the best and she can do whatever she wants, but I was worried about the baby and everything. And I was worried it might, she might get hurt, fall down or something, you know? But we were a good team.”
