The Buffalo Bills are going all-in on a Super Bowl this season, and if quarterback Josh Allen is going to deliver a championship, he’s going to need his full complement of weapons to be healthy to do so. Buffalo bolstered its wide receiver corps this offseason by acquiring former 1,000-yard receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears, but it’s still expecting big things from a few other pass-catchers like Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman.
Unfortunately for Coleman, he’s already hit a setback. The promising third-year WR was seen in a walking boot on Tuesday, and it was revealed he was nursing an injury suffered in the team’s first preseason game. It’s been a strong spring/summer for Coleman.
He scored a TD Saturday.” It’s not known how long Coleman will miss due to the injury, but the team will presumably be cautious in managing his workload going forward. Coleman, a former second-round pick, had a tumultuous 2025 season. He totaled 38 catches, 404 yards, and four touchdowns, and he was healthy scratched multiple times for off-the-field and behavioral issues.
Head coach Joe Brady seemingly has big plans for the Florida State alum. Brady sent a clear message to Coleman shortly after he was promoted from offensive coordinator.
