Last night (Oct. 17) in Oslo, Bob Dylan kicked off the Lights Of Autumn tour. At Oslo Spektrum, Dylan performed a 19-track set, playing the electric keyboard the entire night, with live debuts covering Randy Newman's "Louisiana 1927" and Guy Clark's "Dublin Blues." He also performed "Crash On The Levee" for the first time since 2005 and provided new lyrics for "Tangled Up In Blue," which is he hadn't played since 2018. Dylan made changes to the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth verses on "Tangled Up In Blue." The biggest changes came in the third and fourth verses, which, transcribed from uploaded clips, read as such like this: Way up in the frozen woodsTeardrops touch the sky The leaves are falling one by oneAnd the moments passing by Sometimes I get so tired Sometimes im getting away Lucky you found another Tomorrows another day And all the while I was alone The past was close behindSeen a lot of people but I never escaped her mind She just grew Tangled up in blue Things were gettin’ to cost too muchLove had slipped through my handCertain truths are dancingI never did understandYou bury the hatchetYou put her to bed Sometime you go for a rideNothing ever looks the same After you've been on the other side It turns around watch it disappear Whatever i was looking at He never did find it here Neither did you Tangled up in blue As we all know, Dylan loves rotating his guitarists.

So of course he had a new one of those as well, reportedly Mike Seal. Over the year, he's enlisted musicians Doug Lancio, Bob Britt, Julian Lage, Joel Paterson, and Jad Tariq, making Seal lucky number six. Also, if you were wondering if Dylan (or someone on his behalf) was still posting slop fiction on his Patreon, he certainly is.
