Liverpool have finalised a deal worth up to £123m for Bradley Barcola, with the Paris Saint-Germain winger to undergo a medical this weekend for his move to Anfield. Liverpool agreed the outline of a deal with the Champions League holders on Wednesday night, after lengthy talks over their main summer transfer target. The structure of the package has now been accepted and the Anfield club will pay £106m up front for the 23-year-old, plus £17m in add-ons based on individual and team achievements.
Personal terms with Barcola have already been agreed, with the France international’s representatives giving the green light to his transfer to Merseyside last month. The winger is set to have a medical over the weekend before completing a transfer that will make him the second-most expensive signing in Liverpool’s history, behind Alexander Isak. Liverpool’s other incoming senior players so far this summer are the centre-back Ronald Araújo, on loan from Barcelona, the Osasuna winger Víctor Muñoz and the defender Jérémy Jacquet, whose £55m move from Rennes was agreed in January.
