Caitlin Clark didn't shy away from trolling Nick Saban ahead of Alabama taking on Georgia in a highly anticipated SEC showdown.

WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark sent a subtle jab at college football coaching legend Nick Saban, ahead of his former team's significant SEC showdown against Georgia. Last weekend, Clark appeared on the set of ESPN's "College GameDay" from her college's campus in Iowa. As the special guest celebrity, she made her picks to win the day's games alongside co-hosts and analysts Reece Davis, Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Saban.

Saban, who coached the Alabama Crimson Tide to six championship wins from 2009 to 2020, had a clear favorite in Alabama's clash with Georgia. He made his prediction crystal clear on "College GameDay" during the weekly picks segment, and it was the Crimson Tide. "Have dominated every team that they've played.

They haven't played anybody, but they will play somebody tonight, and the Tide will dominate," Saban said. She took to her social media to fire off a playful jab at the college coaching legend.

"Dang really thought this was the week Coach Saban doesn’t pick Bama," Clark wrote on her X on Saturday morning. During her appearance on the show last week, Clark defiantly picked her Iowa Hawkeyes to pull off a major upset. Despite hosting the game in their venue, they had an uphill battle against Heisman Trophy favorite Jeremiah Smith and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Meanwhile, Saban's former team, the Crimson Tide, is undefeated and No. 6 in the nation. Alabama will host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night, although severe weather could disrupt the matchup. Georgia ranks first in scoring, while Alabama is second, but both teams have strengths and weaknesses that could be in the spotlight against an undefeated conference opponent.

Saban typically shows a bias by regularly backing his former team in his picks. However, he didn't shy away from agreeing with Kirk Herbstreit that the Miami Hurricanes are the nation's best team on "GameDay," despite Texas being the No. 1 team in the Top 25. That could change if Saban sees the Crimson Tide dominate the Bulldogs as he predicted.
