Chargers-Texans Tickets Are Going for an Embarrassingly Low Rate

The last remaining winless team will host the 2-5 Texans on Sunday, and it's extremely cheap to get into SoFi Stadium.

The last remaining winless team, the Los Angeles Chargers, will be hosting the 2-5 Houston Texans on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. It's expected to be a real barnburner (not). The game isn't expected to be packed by any means.

That much is proven by the fact that there's plenty of tickets still available online. And, the get-in price is one of the cheapest seen in recent NFL history. On TickPick, tickets are being sold for as low as $8 as of Wednesday, per The Sporting Tribune's Arash Markazi.

The amount has already decreased from Tuesday when TickPick reported the get-in price being set at $12. We'll see if the cost continues to go down ahead of Sunday's matchup. The wild thing is that the price of a hot dog at SoFi Stadium costs $9.50, meaning a fan could attend the game for cheaper than buying one of the least expensive food items at an NFL stadium.

This is something to add to an already long list of embarrassing things about the Chargers' 2026 season. Coming off their seventh loss of the season, the Chargers rank 31st in total offensive yards (2,018), 28th in yards per game (288.3), 29th in passing yards (1,240) and dead last in total points scored (99). Their offensive problems have led to first-year offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel being in the hot seat.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh has remained adamant that McDaniel will remain the play caller despite the obvious struggles the team has. If the Chargers lose on Sunday to a not great Texans team, then that should be the final straw for the organization to make some needed coaching changes.
