Kenneth Walker III couldn't have asked for a better start to his stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. The reigning Super Bowl MVP began his 2026 campaign by recording 173 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and one receiving score in the Chiefs' dominant Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos. He backed up that performance with 178 total yards in a win over the Indianapolis Colts, and 70 rushing yards plus another score in a victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Walker has a league-leading 360 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to go along with 11 catches for 82 yards and two more scores through the air. The NFL recognized Walker's stellar play with an announcement on Thursday, naming him the AFC Offensive Player of the Month. The Chiefs reacted to this news with a post on social media.
Congratulations to @Kenneth_Walker9 on being named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month," the team wrote on X. Walker and the Chiefs will look to continue this excellent production in Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.
