Los Angeles Dodgers legend Clayton Kershaw will be in the broadcasting booth for SportsNet LA alongside Joe Davis on Tuesday during the team's series opener against the Atlanta Braves. This will be the first time Kershaw is in the booth for the team's official network. However, Kershaw has called two games since retiring from baseball after winning back-to-back World Series titles last season.

He served as a sidelined analyst twice for NBC’s first-year “Sunday Night Baseball” for the Dodgers' Opening Day game against the Arizona Diamondbacks and on then for a game against the Boston Red Sox on Aug. 2. Although Kershaw initially said he had no plans of taking on any new jobs after retiring, Kershaw has remained involved in the Dodgers' organization, a franchise he spent all 18 seasons of his career with. In addition to broadcasting roles, Kershaw became a special assistant for the Dodgers in March.

Kershaw has also thrown the first pitch twice for the Dodgers this season. The first time was on Opening Day when he threw the first pitch to Freddie Freeman and received his 2025 World Series ring. The second time was earlier this month on Aug. 14 when Kershaw threw the first pitch on his bobblehead night.
