The Indianapolis Colts will be without one of their top playmakers against the Tennessee Titans.

Indianapolis Colts second-year tight end Tyler Warren entered the weekend with a questionable tag after suffering a groin injury during the team's practice on Friday. Unfortunately, that injury seems to be worse the previously expected. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Warren will be inactive for the Colts Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

It's certainly a blow to the Colts offense as Warren currently leads the team with 30 receptions and two receiving touchdowns on the season. However, the Colts will now have to rely even more on wide receivers Josh Downs, Keenan Allen and Laquon Treadwell as well as backup tight end Mo Alie-Cox. The Colts selected Warren with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Penn State, where he won the John Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end in 2024.

It didn't take Warren long to establish himself as one of the best up-and-coming tight ends in the league, either. As a rookie, Warren racked up 76 catches for 817 yards and four touchdowns. Warren has recorded 30 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns through the first five weeks of this season, and the team is surely hoping he can make his return to the field sooner rather than later.
