He missed six games last season with a neck injury and later underwent spinal fusion surgery.
That's a lot to handle in one season. Jones has allowed 22 sacks since entering the NFL. His 57.7 grade in 2025 ranked 70th among 89 qualified tackles.
After the Steelers declined his fifth-year option, Jones is now getting another chance with the Cowboys. Now, he'll have a chance to put that chapter behind him. For Prescott and the Cowboys, the hope is simple: Jones can settle in, stay healthy and become a reliable part of the offensive line.
