The Dallas Cowboys finally got into the win column with Sunday’s 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders, and star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was a big reason why. Lamb, a five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro selection, singlehandedly dominated the Commanders secondary. The 27-year-old wideout caught eight passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns, most of which came in the first half.

That’d be finding out that he has a surprise drug test from the NFL moments after the game. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones didn’t seem concerned about the drug test. Instead, he spent his postgame media availability boasting about how dominant Lamb was in Week 2.
I think he was out here to show everybody what he means to the Cowboys. What kind of career he’s had. It’s a great way to put that on the cake.” Lamb’s breakout game comes one week after he had just five catches, 44 yards, and one touchdown in Dallas’ season-opening loss to the New York Giants.
Teammate Jake Ferguson also caught two touchdowns against Washington, but his final stat line — four catches, 43 yards, two scores — likely didn’t pique the NFL’s curiosity as much as Lamb’s. Prescott also had an impressive performance, completing 26 of 31 passes (83.8 completion percentage) for 279 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions with a 143.8 passer rating.
