England secured a 3-0 sweep of Ireland as they won the third and final one-day international of the series by 114 runs in Worcester on Sunday. Sophia Dunkley (119 off 119 balls) struck a run-a-ball century - her second in ODI cricket - as England set Ireland 292 to win, having been inserted by the visitors. But Ireland never truly threatened in reply, despite a handful of starts for their top-order batters, as they were ultimately bowled out for 177 after 44.2 overs.
England were also bowled out short of their allotted 50 overs, as the hosts collapsed from 183-1 in the 31st over and 260-4 in the 43rd to 291 all out after 48.5. It wouldn't prove costly, however, as Lauren Filer (3-27), Mady Villiers (3-33) and Tilly Corteen-Coleman (2-34) starred with the ball to skittle Ireland and secure a series whitewash.
