The Philadelphia Eagles will be forced to make a move up front before they play the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 2. Per Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles are placing three-time Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve. The Eagles will look to Drew Kendall or Willie Lampkin to replace Dickerson.
"Eagles are placing LG Landon Dickerson on Injured Reserve, NFL sources said. Dickerson has been playing with various ailments and clearly struggled in the opener vs. the Commanders," McLane posted on X. "Looks like it will be Drew Kendall’s or Willie Lampkin’s turn at guard.
Also depends on if there is a change at center and how the Eagles best see the O-line configuration, sources said." He was penalized once, gave up one quarterback hit and four pressures. When speaking to reporters on Monday, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni defended Dickerson's performance on Sunday, noting he had a key block on a long run by running back Saquon Barkley.
