After defeating the Tennessee Titans by a 24-20 final score in Week 2, the Philadelphia Eagles have added a former NFL Pro Bowler to their depth. According to the NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, the Eagles are signing cornerback Kenny Moore II to their practice squad. Moore joining the Eagles' practice squad comes after he spent each of the last nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.
Now, after spending multiple months on the free agent market, he has found his new home with the Eagles. Moore is a very intriguing player for the Eagles to be adding to their practice squad. The 31-year-old has plenty of NFL experience and has shown in the past that he can make a real impact.
This was especially the case during his Pro Bowl 2021 season, as he posted four interceptions and a career-high 102 tackles. Moore played in 14 games last season for the Colts, where he posted one interception, 1.5 sacks, and 55 combined tackles. Overall, he was serviceable when called upon, so it makes sense that Philadelphia is taking a low-risk gamble on a veteran like him.
