ESPN's Mike Greenberg has called out Jets head coach Aaron Glenn after the team's loss to the Dolphins.

An ESPN analyst is going after New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn for a decision he made in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. Mike Greenberg went to X/Twitter to react to a response Glenn gave to a reporter who asked about not using his timeouts late in the first half to get the ball back. "Maybe we should've called our timeouts to get it back, but at that point, we just felt like we were going to stop them and be able to get the ball back," Glenn said.

Greenberg, a Jets fan, wrote, "This answer is inexcusable. Game management is the most important part of this job, and he is as bad at it as any coach I’ve ever seen. There may not be any point in making the change now, but it’s over; it’s just a matter of when." Greenberg might be right about Glenn, who has been the Jets' head coach since the start of the 2025 season.

The Jets are currently 2-5 after suffering a 28-25 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Last season, Glenn led the Jets to a 3-14 record, their worst mark since 2020, when they went 2-14. But Glenn believes the Jets are heading in the right direction.

"The reason why I would say that is cause there’s no quit in these guys,” Glenn said on Sunday, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. Come out the second half, it was probably doom and gloom from everything outside of it. But inside this locker room, the guys were ready to go, and I think they showed up.

I know that we’re not where we need to be, but I totally believe that we’re on the right track.”
