fanclubwallet – “Creep-O”

We're at the absolute height of spooky season right now, and now fanclubwallet have a new song about the scariest beastie that you might encounter this Halloween: The creep! I get scared thinking about them, too. Unlike so many other mythological varmints, creeps are unfortunately very real.

If you're out in public, or maybe at your place of work, of them might be in the room with you right now! Hopefully, one of them isn't in your home. You need to look out for these creeps. fanclubwallet, the Ottawa indie project led by Hannah Judge, released the album Living While Dying last year, right around Halloween.

Earlier this year, fanclubwallet shared the one-off single "Moving Unison," and Judge's partner and collaborator Michael (Miki) Watson released their debut solo album Willow. "Creep-O," fanclubwallet's latest, is a muted garage-pop track about the people who just leave you feeling off. Judge says, "This song was created in basically one sitting.

A feeling of weirdness was stuck with me, and I just had to get it out as quick as possible." Check it out below.
