The New York Giants are locked into working with that quarterback duo for the next three seasons. Dart will remain the starting quarterback and is locked in for at least the next four years after signing the standard rookie contract that came with being selected No. 25 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Winston, on the other hand, agreed to terms on a two-year extension with the club on Sunday, according to Jordan Schultz.
Winston is the primary backup for Dart, and based on what we saw last season there is a good chance that he is called upon to start games due to injury -- he started two games last year, completing 37-of-66 passes for 567 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in 2025. Winston, 32, has made decent money throughout his career, signing what amounted to a $25.3 million pact with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being selected No. 1 in the 2015 NFL Draft before making $38.6 million, $4 million, and $8 million, respectively, with the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and Giants. Winston's latest deal comes with a total value of $13 million.
The Giants carried just two quarterbacks on their active roster, and they made sure both are locked up for the foreseeable future.
