Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson are the latest couple to go home on Dancing With the Stars. The couple has dealt with some drama on the show due to some viewers thinking votes were “rigged” in their favor and others feeling like Guillermo stayed in the competition longer than better dancers, but ultimately? These two had a great run and a lot of fun.
Also, their final dance (a salsa to “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny for Super Bowl Night) was incredible. I mean, Witney’s splits!!!! Guillermo spoke to Extra about his elimination after the show, saying his legs, back, and neck hurt, and that he planned to go home and celebrate with a margarita.
Guillermo also said he and Witney “were a good team,” and that he was surprised by all the fan love. He ended the interview with “Ezra, let’s go to lunch next week! I love you, dude, and I hope you win!” Meanwhile, Witney praised her partner for “always looking out for me, making sure that I’m good, am I eating, am I drinking, am I resting enough?
Like today when we were doing the splits, before we went live he was like ‘are you sure you wanna do the splits.’ So just always thinking about me, just really special.”
