Variety has learned that the following actors will appear in Season 2 of the HBO comedy: Katy O’Brian (“Love Lies Bleeding,” “Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning”), Lindsay Sloane (“Playing House,” “The Odd Couple”), Michael Rispoli (“The Sopranos,” “The Deuce”), Nelson Franklin (“Veep,” upcoming “The Social Reckoning”), and Rajat Suresh (“Severance,” “Fallout”). Exact character details are being kept under wraps. Series creator Rachel Sennott leads the cast of “I Love L.A.,” with Odessa A’zion, True Whitaker, Jordan Firstman, and Josh Hutcherson also starring in Season 1.
Additional guest stars will include Taron Egerton, Jamie Chung, Bejamin Norris, Dylan Arnold, Jessy Hodges, and Milan Carter Season 2 is currently in production in Los Angeles. It will consist of eight episodes. In the series, Sennott plays Maia, an aspiring talent manager who must juggle various relationships, including with her college bud turned rising star Tallulah (A’zion) and her schoolteacher boyfriend Dylan (Hutcherson).
The show was renewed for a second season in November 2025 after just three episodes of the first season had aired. As mentioned above, Sennott created the series and serves as executive producer. Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria also executive produce.
