The Jacksonville Jaguars must continue their strong start without a key member of their offense. Anton Harrison will miss the rest of the 2026 season with a torn ACL, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Doctors discovered the injury while performing an arthroscopic procedure on the offensive tackle.
Harrison left Jacksonville's Week 5 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in London early, and the team later placed him on the injured reserve. He had played all of the offense's snaps through Week 4. Harrison has started 53 games since the Jaguars drafted him with the No. 27 pick in 2023, and he moved from right tackle to left this summer.
Pro Football Focus grades him 30th among 74 eligible tackles this season. The Jaguars have scored 25.7 points per game and lead the AFC South at 4-2 despite last Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Houston Texans. Their offensive line has protected Trevor Lawrence well, allowing only 10 sacks this season.
With Harrison sidelined, Walker Little started at left tackle for the Jaguars in Week 6. The 27-year-old could continue to protect Lawrence's blindside in his sixth season with the organization. Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski called it an "incredibly rare luxury" to have Little and other starting-caliber linemen down the depth chart.
"I probably can't overstate how important it is because we really are fortunate to not have to play a backup in a situation when a tackle goes down," Udinski said last week. "I don't look at Walker as a backup tackle or a backup guard." The Jaguars will hope the offensive line holds up when they host the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
