Pittsburgh Steelers star cornerback Jalen Ramsey is reportedly "expected to play" in Week 4 despite having a broken wrist.

With the entire AFC North currently tied at 2-1, Thursday's primetime divisional clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns is a big one. Steelers fans got a good injury update on star cornerback Jalen Ramsey just hours ahead of the Week 4 "Thursday Night Football" showdown between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Despite suffering a broken wrist on Sunday in Week 3, Ramsey is "expected to play" against the Browns, according to ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler.

The Ramsey update comes on the heels of the Steelers trading fellow star defensive back Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys. Ramsey is in his second season with Pittsburgh after being traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Steelers in June 2025. The 31-year-old hasn't missed a game since the 2023 campaign, which was his first in South Beach.

Ramsey finished third among all Pittsburgh players in combined tackles (88) last season, while tying for third in passes defended (eight) too. Ramsey added a career-high 3.0 sacks and one interception in his 17 regular season contests as well. The 2016 fifth overall pick recorded a season-high eight tackles during the Steelers' 30-27 win versus the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.

Ramsey has played every one of Pittsburgh's 172 defensive snaps during the 2026 campaign and ranks second on the Steelers in solo tackles (nine) entering Week 4. He's added one tackle for loss, one pass defended and one forced fumble as well.
