Popular travel-competition web series “Jet Lag: The Game” is flying into select Cineworld-owned theaters for its Season 19 finale Oct. 3. On the heels of the series’ Season 19 premiere event at Picturehouse Cinemas in London in August, the upcoming finale will screen at select Regal, Picturehouse and Cineworld locations across the U.S. and U.K. Tickets for the “Jet Lag: The Game” Season 19 finale theatrical release will go on sale Sept. 8.
One of indie streamer Nebula’s most popular original series, “Jet Lag: The Game” has featured competitions across Japan, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, and North America throughout its first 18 seasons. Season 19, dubbed “Japanorama,” returns the series to Japan for a competition between creators and stars Sam Denby, Ben Doyle, Adam Chase, and season guest star Tom Scott. The “Jet Lag” theatrical event marks a new partnership between indie streamer Nebula and Cineworld’s Regal Global Entertainment, which recently set a deal to support an Oscar-qualifying theatrical run for Nebula short film “Power Trip.” A 26-minute short film from creator and director Patrick H.
Willems, “Power Trip” will screen at Regal Essex Crossing in New York Sept. 24-30, where select talent will participate in live Q&As following each 7 p.m. Nebula founder Dave Wiskus added: “‘Jet Lag’ is an inherently social show. Having spent time with fans in theaters, there really is something magical about bringing that community together.
