This coming Sunday's Week 8 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets has some extra juice following recent comments from running back Ashton Jeanty. When speaking to reporters earlier this week, Jeanty said he expects the Raiders to get their run game going against some Jets defenders who "don't really want to tackle." "Yeah. I think we can definitely get the run game going.
Get back on track," Jeanty said. "A couple guys out there that don't really want to tackle, but I'm not going to say names." Jets defensive coordinator Brian Duker was asked about Jeanty's comments on Thursday. "I did see those comments.
I've got plenty of confidence in our guys," Duker said. Jets veteran linebacker Demario Davis also responded to Jeanty's comments. "It's called bulletin board material.
I'm big on, the game is played inside the white lines," Davis said. Sunday's matchup between the Raiders and Jets will kick off at 1 p.m.
