It is no secret that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is one of the top stars in the NFL right now. Allen is in the middle of a very strong career with the Bills, as evidenced by him being a two-time second-team All-Pro, four-time Pro Bowler, and, of course, the NFL Most Valuable Player of the 2024 season. He also recently became only the fourth quarterback in NFL history to record his 100th career win, including the playoffs, in their first nine seasons.
Now, Allen has been compared to legendary quarterback Peyton Manning. During a recent ESPN appearance, broadcaster Jim Nantz compared Allen's career to Manning. While doing so, Nantz made it clear that he believes Allen still can win his first Super Bowl ring later in his career, just like Manning did.
"I believe just like you, when it breaks through, and maybe this is the year, there's going to be multiple trips afterward," Nantz said to Manning about Allen. "I think his career does, in many ways, parallel yours, Peyton. I really do." When looking at how talented of a quarterback Allen is, it is certainly understandable that Nantz believes he can have a career like Manning.
The Bills also have a strong roster in general, so the possibility of Allen getting his first Super Bowl ring this season should not be ruled out. It will be interesting to see if Allen ends up having a similar career path to Manning's from here.
