Kazakhstan's FlyArystan airline has extended the temporary suspension of flights on the Aktau-Dubai-Aktau route until September 30, 2026, inclusive, the airline's press service reported. The airline had previously announced the suspension of flights on the route until September 15”, the company said Tickets for flights between Aktau and Dubai are currently available from October 3 as part of FlyArystan's winter schedule. Passengers affected by the canceled flights can rebook their tickets free of charge for a later date or receive a full refund without penalties at the place of purchase.
The airline said it will provide additional information if there are further changes to the flight schedule. Against the backdrop of the ongoing geopolitical tensions surrounding Iran, airlines have been canceling or adjusting flights to Dubai and other major aviation hubs in the Middle East due to heightened risks to civil aviation. Military and political instability in the region, periodic restrictions on the use of Iranian airspace, and risks associated with missile and drone activity have prompted international airlines to take precautionary measures and adjust their flight schedules.
