Rght-wing activist and Donald Trump ally Laura Loomer has defended calling a Democratic Senate candidate a "ghetto Black communist bitch," following backlash including from Marjorie Taylor Greene who accused her of "nonstop insanity." Loomer made the remark in a series of X posts targeting Angie Nixon, a Jacksonville lawmaker and Florida U.S. Loomer also derided Nixon's speech against resolutions honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk as "Ebonics" and said she needed her "leash" tugged. The remarks quickly drew criticism online, including from former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who said she "1000 percent" denounced Loomer's comments and described them as racist.
Loomer responded late on Sunday to the criticism. She wrote on X: “Is she ghetto? I spoke the truth.” Newsweek contcated Loomer and Nixon via email for comment.
