Once a year, a whole host of hardcore bands descends upon the city of Louisville for LDB Fest, one of the biggest annual events on the hardcore calendar. In recent years, LDB has looked just outside the hardcore world for many of its headliners, adding bands like Basement, Superheaven, and Saves The Day to the mix. That won't happen when LDB returns next year.

Today, LDB Fest's bookers announced that next year's festival will go down "in an even smaller room with a shorter stage," so tickets are likely to go quickly. The show happens Feb. 12-13 at Louisville's Mellwood Art Center, and the headliners are super-busy underground sensations Haywire and '90s legends Integrity. Louisville heavy hitters XWeaponX and Inclination, two straight-edge bands that share members with Knocked Loose are also high up on the bill.

So are God's Hate and Criminal Instinct. Chicago heroes Harm's Way, whose only recent shows have been memorials to their late guitarist Bo Lueders, will play. So will the North Carolina band Advent, who broke up in 2011 and then reunited but who haven't been very active since their 2017 comeback EP Pain And Suffering.

As always, the LDB bill also includes a ton of the moment's ascendant underground bands. This time around, the lineup also includes Holder, the Sissy Boys, Prevention, En Love, No Idols, Bad Beat, Step 2 This, Si Dios Quiere, Scorched Earth Policy, Everybody Takes One, Fröthing Mad, Stakes Is High, WMD, Cause Of Pain, Self Interest, Sick Of Talk, Bloodshed, Basic Needs, Lethal Method, Dysform, Jump Ball, and Death Sin. For all the relevant info, check here.

Also, we never got around the posting the still-incomplete lineup for next year's FYA Fest, the other big show that happens early in the year. That one has some of has legends like Floorpunch, Poison The Well, Carry On, Breakdown, Earth Crisis, Path Of Resistance, and Ringworm, as well as more recent acts like Angel Du$t, Fiddlehead, Harm's Way, God's Hate, XWeaponX, Contention, and Division Of Mind. Some of the bigger names haven't been revealed yet.

It's happening Jan. 9-10 at the Orlando Warehouse, and you can get tickets here.
