The home was never publicly listed, according to the real estate listings website Realtor.com, and was then purchased off-market by Phippen on January 5, 2024, for $675,000 at less than its estimated value.
Zillow estimates the property at $778,400. This has been a bargain for Phippen, who secured a home in a tight housing market at an unusually low price. According to Zillow, the average home value in Duxbury is $1,131,969, and the median list price is $1,278,333.
