Two AFC South teams have connections to Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. amid news he's getting traded.

Per multiple reports, the Arizona Cardinals are ready to call it quits on wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. before the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Since being drafted by the Cardinals with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Harrison has caught 108 passes for 1,578 yards and 13 touchdowns. His best season came as a rookie, when he recorded 61 receptions for 885 yards and eight scores.

The Cardinals are shutting Harrison down before the team gets set to play the Detroit Lions at home on Sunday as they get ready for a trade. "One team that has had Marvin Harrison trade talks with Arizona is Houston, sources tell me and (Rapoport)," Schefter posted on X.

Houston has been, and is thought to be, square in the mix for Harrison. But as one Texans source said about the team’s interest in Harrison, 'I can’t confirm or deny at this time.'" Per Florio, the Texans are the "likely" destination for Harrison. A trade for Harrison is expected to cost Houston at least a second-round pick, and the Texans were prepared to offer a second-round pick in 2028.

Arizona wants a 2027 second-round pick. In the meantime, the Cardinals are willing to wait and drive the price up for Harrison to see another team has an interest in the receiver. Houston would be a logical destination for Harrison, who would join his former teammate at Ohio State, quarterback C.J.

The Texans are 0-4 before traveling to play the 0-4 Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Another AFC South team showed interest in Harrison, but is not ready to pull the trigger. Per Mike Chappell of Fox59, the Indianapolis Colts did "due diligence" on Harrison, but are not planning to trade for the receiver.

"Per source, Marv Jr isn’t heading to Indy. like just about every team, Colts did due diligence but that’s all," Chappell posted on X. "Prob decided price too steep. imo bringing Marv Jr to Indy would have brought unrealistic expectations, pressure." The connection for Harrison in Indianapolis is obvious. His father, Marvin Harrison, enjoyed a Pro Football Hall of Fame career with the Colts, and won Super Bowl XLI when Peyton Manning was throwing him the pigskin.
