Pete Golding and the Ole Miss Rebels took care of business in one of the most highly-anticipated college football games of the 2026 season, taking down Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers upon his return to Oxford. This was a huge win for the Rebels, but Golding is ready to put it in the rearview mirror as his team prepares for its upcoming matchup against the Florida Gators. I mean there’s nothing about winning a game in September that makes your season, so I think our focus is prepare really hard week in and week out," Golding told reporters on Wednesday, via On3 Sports.

Despite their ranking, the Rebels are heading to Gainesville listed as underdogs against the No. 21 ranked Gators. Saturday's game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
