Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever to victory in a must-win playoff matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday night, delivering a historic performance in the process. Clark recorded 27 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds in the 99-89 win, forcing a Game 3 matchup in Las Vegas. With this stat line, Clark becomes the first player in WNBA history to record at least 25 points and 15 assists in a single playoff game.
Additionally, she joined her good friend Tyrese Haliburton with another historic feat. Clark and Haliburton are the last two players in WNBA/NBA history to record at least 25 points, 15 assists and five made three pointers in a playoff game. That milestone only happened one other time in the history of both leagues.
The Pacers recognized this feat with a social media post after the Fever's win. Haliburton recorded 32 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds in a playoff victory over the New York Knicks on May 27, 2025. "27-15-7 to keep the season alive!?
Oooweeee," Haliburton wrote on social media in reaction to Clark's performance. With a trip to the second round on the line, Clark and the Fever will tip off against the Aces at 9 p.m.
