New England Patriots starting left tackle Will Campbell suffered a knee injury during this past Sunday's Week 5 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Campbell underwent MRI testing to determine the severity of his injury on Monday. And according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the 22-year-old offensive lineman avoided a serious, long-term injury.
Campbell is now considered "week-to-week" as the Patriots prepare for this coming Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the division-rival New York Jets. Wasn’t able to finish the game, so I don’t know how much time he’ll miss — if he’ll be back towards the end of the week, if he’ll be back Wednesday. Sunday's 45-17 win over the Raiders marked the team's second consecutive victory and third win of the season thus far. Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Jets will kick off at 1 p.m.
