Before she is politely escorted away, the singer manages to briefly step onto the stage and declares, “Now, I’ve been on Broadway. Now, I can host the Tonys.” In her caption for the post, Pink wrote, “When I was asked to host @thetonyawards, my first question was — don’t you need to have been on Broadway for this? So I went ahead and fixed that.
And now I’m hosting the Tony Awards!!” She added, “The Broadway community is the hardest working in showbiz. They show up every single night, sometimes twice, and make absolute magic. I cannot wait to celebrate them all with you.” While Pink herself has yet to be perform in a Broadway play, her work is currently featured in two musicals including “Raise Your Glass” in Moulin Rouge!

Earlier this year, Pink was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. The inductees will be announced later this month and the annual ceremony will take place in the fall.
