Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Uzbekistan is continuing, with the second day of the visit scheduled to take place in the historic city of Bukhara. A media delegation accompanying the Azerbaijani president has already arrived in Bukhara to cover the visit and report on the meetings and events planned as part of the programme. The two countries have developed increasingly close political, economic and diplomatic ties in recent years, with cooperation expanding across trade, investment, transport, energy, industry and other areas.
