The Baltimore Ravens pulled off one of the more dramatic wins of the season Sunday afternoon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, beating the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 on a game-winning 56-yard field goal from Tyler Loop as time expired. Dallas jumped out to a 10-0 lead, but Baltimore answered with 17 straight points and led 24-13 in the third quarter. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys fought back to go up 28-24 on a nine-yard touchdown from KaVontae Turpin.
Lamar Jackson then answered with a two-yard touchdown pass to rookie Matt Hibner, putting the Ravens back on top before Dallas tied it late, setting up Loop's game-winner. Stars on both sides showed out and gave Brazil a show, but Derrick Henry made history in the wild Ravens win. Henry ran for 89 yards and two touchdowns, both in the first half.
In doing so, he passed Hall of Famer Marcus Allen for third-most career rushing touchdowns (135), including the playoffs, and now sits behind only Emmitt Smith (183) and LaDainian Tomlinson (151). Henry also moved past Eric Dickerson into ninth on the NFL's career rushing list. That hasn't happened yet. Through three weeks, the five-time Pro Bowler is still playing like one of the best running backs in football. He already has 212 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns this season, is averaging 5.3 yards per carry, and is in line for his fifth straight 1,000-yard season and the eighth of his career.
