The No. 13 Texas Tech Red Raiders are making a change at quarterback before hosting No. 22 Arizona on Saturday. Following the decision to exclude Brendan Sorsby from the team this summer, Texas Tech turned to junior quarterback Will Hammond. The Red Raiders have had mixed results with Hammond.
He's thrown for 1,561 yards, six touchdowns, and six interceptions. Hammond most recently threw for 227 yards and one interception in TTU's 37-24 loss on the road to Cincinnati in Week 8, a defeat that prompted Texas Tech booster Cody Campbell to comment that there were no excuses for losing to the Bearcats. Castellanos has completed three passes this season for 45 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
