Dancing With the Stars is gearing up for its big Disney Night, which features team dances for the first time since 2024. A lot has gone down with the season 35 pro dancers, from Witney Carson’s pregnancy and Sharna Burgess’ big return to Val Chmerkovskiy’s temporary suspension. After all the casting shakeups this season, another pro unfortunately just confirmed they’ll be missing out on tonight’s Disney-themed festivities.
Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro winner, Adele Zaikman, let fans know that she’ll be out for the count on Monday, November 2’s episode with a statement posted to her Instagram Stories the night before. Adele, who was eliminated during the first week of the competition alongside her celeb partner Conner Leavitt, was scheduled to participate in the show’s opening group number. She continued, “I’m so sad to miss a show day, but I’ll be taking this time to take care of myself.
Sending so much love to everyone on that ballroom floor. I’ll be cheering you on from home.” Adele’s presence will definitely be missed, but there’s still so much to look forward to tonight, as the remaining couples will be divided into two groups for this year’s team dances. On top of switching up the scoring process, team dances are choreographed by the DWTS pros and helmed by two team captains: Connor Wood and Tatyana Ali.
