Hardy's had a lot of cuts, but this one is supremely classic. Ideal for anyone, we found out how you can get it with ease.

At 49 years old, Tom Hardy's had a whole plethora of different hair styles across his career. He's been no stranger to trying something new, whether it's growing it long and luscious or shaving it all off—notably for his role in Bronson. Center-parting Beckham-style?

Jack Grealish-style headbands? Right now, however, he's rocking what our go-to hair stylist describes as "a real classic men’s haircut." Maxwell Oakley, co-founder of London-based premium barbershop chain Supply 91, sees his fair share of cuts. But for him, this is one that works for pretty much anyone.

"It’s a simple, textured style with a decent amount of product to give it texture and hold," he tells us. "We’ve seen it around for the best part of 20 years, and it’s never really disappeared, even if it’s never quite blown up as a trend. It’s low maintenance, masculine and has a slightly rugged feel to it, especially when worn with a bit of stubble." He's of the opinion that Hardy's hair has a particularly strong standing in the grooming game right now.

"With that rugged, cowboy country-inspired aesthetic finding its way back into men’s fashion, this kind of haircut feels particularly relevant. It’s a style that really suits everyone as it’s not about chasing a trend but a timeless style." So how do you get the Hardy look? "When you’re at the barbershop, ask for a two into a three on the sides, with a choppy or messy blend rather than a completely seamless transition into the top," Oakley says.

"You want to leave a little more weight and texture around that blend area, as this is what gives the haircut its more rugged, less tailored feel. The top should be scissor cut, relatively short but with enough length to create movement and texture when you work some product through it. The key to this haircut is really the blend, keeping it looser and less polished is what gives it that effortless feel." There you have it.

Hardy, as to be expected, likes a fuss-free cut that can work for whatever life throws at him, whether that's sleuthing as Harry de Souza in MobLand or charity work in London. And now you can get it too.
