Priya Elan 9pm, Sky ArtsThis intriguing portrait of the prodigious Chinese-American pianist Yuja Wang does a good job of telling her life story while leaving some of her essential mystery intact. She’s a charming but abstracted interviewee: reclining, as if in therapy, and struggling to fully explain her brilliance.
PH There are shades of the Fawlty Towers anniversary episode as Lee (Lee Mack) desperately tries to deflect withering house guests Anna and Toby (Abigail Cruttenden and Hugh Dennis) away from the discovery that Lucy (Sally Bretton) is hiding from them upstairs. Jack Seale 10pm, Channel 4“Now I know why John Wayne walked like that …” Affable tour guide Compston saddles up for an authentic cowboy adventure in the second instalment of his Sin City travelogue. Other highlights include a raucous cocktail sesh with Scottish drag star Lawrence Chaney and a belated trip to the Grand Canyon.
