Phil Harrison 9pm, U&WThe early warning signs for Ellie and Gareth, who tell their stories in back-to-back episodes of this excellent series, were love bombing and subtle indications of possessiveness. While Gareth was financially and emotionally abused by his girlfriend, Ellie suffered sexual violence. Priya Elan 9.30pm, Channel 4“Why take the moral high ground when you could have three grand?” This quote sums up this adventure challenge hosted by Rob Beckett in which 12 strangers slog through the Malaysian rainforest, dreaming of a share of £300k but waylaid by temptations ranging from clean clothes to fast food.
