The price of an ounce of gold (31.1 grams) in Azerbaijan increased by 168.4 manat ($99), or 2.1%, over the week, Trend reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). The weighted average price of one ounce of gold grew 123.5 manat ($72.6), or 1.6%, compared to the previous week, reaching 8,025 manat ($4,720). This week, the price of an ounce of silver in Azerbaijan rose by 5.74 manat ($3.38), or 4.6%.
The average price of an ounce of silver was 126.5 manat ($74.4), which is 2.67 manat ($1.57), or 2.2% less than the previous week. The price of one ounce of platinum in Azerbaijan rose by 140.5 manat ($82.6), or 4.2%. The average price of one ounce of platinum went up by 119.3 manat ($70.1), or 3.6%, compared to the previous week, to 3,429 manat ($2,017).
During the week, the price of one ounce of palladium in Azerbaijan increased by 70.8 manat ($41.6), or 2.8%. The average price of one ounce of palladium rose by 102.5 manat ($60.2), or 4.1%, compared to the previous week, to 2,601 manat ($1,530). March 30 was observed as a non-working day in Azerbaijan due to the Nowruz holiday, and therefore, no data was released for that date.
