Kristen Bell’s character Joanne on Nobody Wants This famously has a podcast (with her sister) all about the pitfalls of her (and her sister’s) dating life. But while we have met a few of Morgan’s (her sister’s) other boyfriends on the Netflix series, Joanne has pretty much only had eyes for Noah, Adam Brody’s character, since the beginning. Nothing happened, but we did finally meet one of Joanne’s ex-boyfriends in Nobody Wants This: Travis, played by Avan Jogia.
Travis is a classic dirtbag. There’s kind of no other way to describe him. He’s inconsiderate, rude, and hot enough to get away with it for a bit too long.
Joanne and Noah discover that Travis lives in their neighborhood. Immediately, Joanne wants to make him jealous. She’s not successful, but Noah tells a white lie to let her believe that she was.
In the penultimate episode, “Last Christmas,” we see a little bit of their chaotic relationship. This is the type of hot mess Joanne used to date. Jogia is a Canadian actor who started working as a teenager.
He’s also in a band with his brother called Saint Ivory, has published two books, and started the LGBTQIA+ online group “Straight But Not Narrow” in the 2010s. He’s also engaged to the singer Halsey. Here’s where you’ve seen him on screen before.
You most likely know Jogia as Beck Oliver, boyfriend of Elizabeth Gillies’ character Jade West, on the 2010s Nickelodeon series. Jogia reprised the role on two Victorious video games and a crossover episode of iCarly a.k.a. iParty with Victorious. And the character got a shoutout on Sam & Cat.
