For the second straight year, metalcore heroes Converge are throwing their Saddest Day festival at Roadrunner in Boston this Dec. 12 and 13. The lineup is once again stacked, and we're giving away a pair of full-weekend passes. Besides Converge sets on both nights — including one devoted to Jane Doe for its 25th anniversary — Saddest Day offers performances from the revamped Neurosis, Crowbar, Cave In, Emma Ruth Rundle, Pig Pen, Deaf Club, Final Gasp on Saturday followed by Chat Pile, Baroness, Agriculture, Deadguy, Reversal Of Man, Habak, and Fuming Mouth on Sunday.
None of the sets are overlapping, so those present can witness every second of the fest, and there's no barrier, so you can take it all in up close. To enter our sweepstakes, submit your name and email address below. Entering will also sign you up for our delightful weekly Stereogum email newsletter, which makes my Friday brighter every time it hits my inbox.
The contest will be open for one week, ending at noon ET on Oct. 14. The winner will be contacted later that day, so be sure to check your email that afternoon. For everyone else, tickets are available here.
