Most of the main characters saving lives (and tangling lives) at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in season 23 joined the long-running ABC series about four years ago. They’re basically babies! But a few are part of the larger lore.
If you’re not caught up, or are in the process of catching up, here’s your guide to who’s who on Grey’s these days. Three cast members have been on Grey’s Anatomy from the very beginning: Ellen Pompeo as Dr. Meredith Grey, Chandra Wilson as Dr.
Miranda Bailey, and James Pickens Jr. as Dr. If you don’t know the Grey’s Big Three by now, why are you here?! There have been some recent shake-ups.
Kim Raver, who played Dr. Teddy Altman, and Kevin McKidd, who played Dr. Owen Hunt, left at the end of Season 22.
Scott Speedman, who used to be a main cast member, is now playing Dr. Nick Marsh in a recurring capacity. You’ll also occasionally see returning favorites Debbie Allen as Dr.
Catherine Fox, James Wolk as Dr. Seth Norton, and Jennifer Landon as Dr. There aren’t really any new characters this season.
