Love it or hate it, fall is officially in full swing—and I’ve been knee-deep in zhuzhing up my cozy wardrobe. I’ve got the sweaters, cardigans, corduroy jeans, and trench coats pretty much on lock, but now I’m on the hunt for cool accessories and statement pieces that bring a little more personality to my outfits. A knit bandana triangle scarf has been on my wishlist ever since the Kujten cashmere one popped off last year, followed by the Guest in Residence style that had its own moment.
But as much as I love the look, I haven’t been able to justify spending $100-plus on a tiny triangle of fabric—not on a writer’s paycheck, if we’re being so real... After some determined digging, I finally found my perfect match at Anthropologie for just $28, and it gives me the exact vibe I was after. While it’s not made of cashmere (the one thing it’s missing from the designer versions), reviewers love this five-star-rated find for its ultra-soft feel—saying it’s “super soft and comfortable”.
The triangle silhouette makes it ideal for layering over jackets, coats, and tops, adding a little something extra to an otherwise bulky outfit. For those sunny, breezy days where it’s not quite chilly enough for outerwear, I’d put it over a lightweight sweater for a cozy touch that won’t weigh you down. Plus, it comes in six shades, ranging from versatile neutrals to punchier hues.
As for styling it, even though I’ve been envisioning it draped over my shoulders all fall, there are so many other ways to style this little accessory: wear it as a headscarf, tie it around your waist as a belt, or even knot it onto your purse. With the trend picking up steam, I also stumbled across a few other options worth checking out. Same-same bandana vibe, but each with its own twist.
