Aaron Donald is widely considered one of the strongest and most physically-imposing players in NFL history. But on Sunday night, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year was bested by Denver Broncos offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz. Donald attempted to rush Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, but Meinerz ultimately flattened him with a highlight-reel body slam.
On Monday, Meinerz shared that he'd been selected by the NFL to complete a performance enhancing drug test. The two-time First Team All-Pro offensive lineman posted the text on his Instagram story: “Quinn this is Christian on behalf of the NFL and Drug Free Sport. You have been selected to complete a performance-enhancing substance (PES) test today.
You must complete your test prior to the start of the afternoon team activities. Please bring your government-issued ID or team ID.” The Broncos overcame a 16-0 halftime deficit to notch a 30-26 win over the Rams on Sunday night. Denver is now 2-1 to begin the 2026 NFL season.
With their loss, Donald and the Rams drop to 1-2 on the season. The Broncos are preparing for a Week 4 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, while the Rams are hoping to bounce back in a Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles.
